Living in our Residential Park Homes

Living in our Residential Park Homes

Park home living is becoming an increasingly popular choice for many people, offering an attractive lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of urban living. Many of our residents are retirees who have chosen to make the most of life by releasing equity in the regular homes and relocating to one of our parks surrounded by friendly, like-minded people in beautiful Scottish settings. Our residential parks are designed exclusively for the over 50s and offer a low-cost alternative to living in traditional homes and an easy way to downsize into a more manageable property.

Richmond Wight currently have two residential parks in Scotland with the most popular being Riverview based close to Inverness. This tranquil park is set in one of the most picturesque regions of the UK offering the ideal balance between peaceful countryside living but conveniently close enough to a wealth of local amenities nearby. The historic city of Inverness is within short driving distance of Riverview and is home to a wide selection of shops and restaurants as well as being the home of the world famous Highland Games.

There are also plenty of nearby attractions such as the magnificent Balvenie Castle, one of the oldest stone castles in Scotland along with the remains of the once mighty Elgin Cathedral. The whole area is awash with scenic trails and miles of unspoiled beaches to explore as well as the domination Grampian Mountains towards the west. And, if golf is your thing, you can also follow in the footsteps of the legendary Old Tom Morris at Moray Golf Club, one of Scotland’s finest links courses just five minutes away.
